Have you ever seen this?
Hey friends, I have a recent story for you (inclusive of your friends and loved ones) about the check/cheque
above. The arrows pointing towards the dark spots on the check/cheque is to protect the identify of the person the check/cheque was issued to. This story is not only to make you shudder at how heartless people can be, but to put you
on the “know” about things around you, if you are in America.
In the midst of the beauty in this great country, there are
still a few malicious persons who want to take funds hardworking people have,
by way of trickery, but first, let me enlighten you on some related issues, which
you are maybe already aware of.
Just as we have people of different race, ethnicity or culture
and country, so also we have different crimes plaguing every country.
But, around the world, there are tales of fraud that have been
identified with some countries. Whether these crimes are being perpetrated by
1% of the country’s population is irrelevant to people who publish stories on news
magazines, articles, blogs and websites, most especially developed countries websites
like Canada, United States, etc sending alerts/warnings to its citizens about
these crimes along with many other issues.
Nigeria for instance is known for advance fee fraud or what is
known as 419 or inheritance scam; Russia is known for online dating
and business fraud; Philippines is known for marriage and online dating scam;
China is known for business and employment fraud; UK is known for its online
dating fraud; Ghana is known for advance fee fraud and inheritance scam; Mexico
is known for advance fee and business fraud; Malaysia is known for advance fee
fraud and inheritance fraud, the list of countries with fraud tales are
endless.
If these countries are visited by curious persons for the
purpose of confirming these claims of fraud, it will be noted or observed that
they may never ever get a chance to witness firsthand these crimes being
committed, but they will definitely witness firsthand the good-of-the-land in
those countries listed. Though these fraud claims maybe true, but are definitely
being committed by a few persons that may never ever be seen, they hide behind
internet pages and phone calls.
Now, this is a recent tale from a friend I bumped into today
at my school in Bellevue University, United States. We will call are Eduline
for security reasons.
Eduline put are car for sale on craigslist inclusive of her
phone contact (for those of you not based in America, www.craiglist.com is an online shopping
site for anything, ranging from job hunt, household items, automobiles, to
house/apartment sales, etc.). Eduline received a text, the sender indicated interest
in her car, and the sender who is a lady (we will call her Beatrice) agreed to
pay 2,500 bucks, which is cost of the car. On another thought, the prospective
buyer, Beatrice, told Eduline that, she will send her 5,000 bucks, and that
2,500 bucks will be for the purchase of the car, which someone will get from Eduline
from Iowa (another State), but would want Eduline to send the extra 2,500 bucks
to Beatrice’s brother via Western Union. Eduline agreed, and the check was sent
through FedEx from Florida (Florida is a state in United States).
When Eduline received the cheque/check this morning Sept 4,
2012, she was confused, and she confided in me, and we both contacted the supposed company that issued the check/cheque (printed on the check/cheque leaf), and it was ruled as fraud. Surprise! Surprise!!
If Eduline had paid the fraudulent cheque/check into the
bank, 5,000 bucks would have been made available to her the very next
day, but after one week, the bank will come calling by alerting the police, and she may end up either
in jail or paying for the money withdrawn.
I wanted all you citizens (persons born in the U.S.), international students (F1 Visa holders), business
men/women (B1 Visa holders)and visitors of this great country America, to be fully abreast of this
fraudulent act, so you will not be submerged in the beauty of this great country only, but
be properly armed in the event you encounter this kind of issues.
Please, be extremely alert in whatever country you find
yourself regardless of its beauty. Send us your story from around the world, and see it published to help people overcome these evil.
Love you all, and bye for now.
Love you all, and bye for now.
This is a real tale from America - Be wise!
